A Dual Study Program through the adidas Group in cooperation with the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg – Georg Simon Ohm (Technical University Nueremberg) offers you the opportunity to combine theory with corporate experience, with the goal of gaining a Bachelor's degree within just three and a half years.

The Dual Study Program at a glance:
The Dual Study Program starts in September with a month-long orientation period at the adidas Group headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Here, we will help you get familiar with our corporate culture and provide you with in-house training to help you get off to a successful start.
At the beginning of October, the theoretical component of the course kicks off at TH Nuremberg. During your theoretical stages you will have one day a week lecture-free. This day you will be at the adidas Group in Herzogenaurach. Thereby we guarantee that you never lose the connection to practice and your department.
After your first theoretical phases we will welcome you back during your semester vacations to Herzogenaurach for the first practical component of the course. From this point , your course will alternate between theory and practice in your semester vacations. Here is what you should know:
- In accordance with your degree program, each practical component will take you to a different relevant department. This allows you to adapt what you learned in theory and put it into practice. What's more, you can gain cross-functional experience too.
- In addition to that the study program includes an 20-weeks internship at an adidas location within Europe
- We also offer you the opportunity to complete an assignment abroad at one of the over 60 partner universities of TH Nuremberg.
- Possible placements for the practical components of the respective programs of study includes:

How long does the Dual Study Program last?
The Dual Study Program lasts three 1/2 years.
What school-leaving qualifications do I need for the Dual Study Program?
For the Dual Study Program, we require a general or subject-specific university entrance diploma.
What other prerequisites are there in addition to the relevant school-leaving qualification for the Dual Study Program?
As well as good academic achievements, you should be able to demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities and a very good knowledge of English. Enthusiasm for sport, fashion, and lifestyle represent additional important requirements.
How important is my grade average?
Grades alone are not the decisive criteria for us in the taking on dual study students. The overall profile is important to us, including what you do outside school (e.g. work placements, part-time jobs, social engagement, membership of associations, etc.).
How is the Dual Study Program at the adidas Group paid?
The pay for the Dual Study Program is above average. The salary increases incrementally for each year of the dual study program.
What are the standard working hours (hours per week)?
The working hours are 39 hours per week.
How much holiday will I have?
Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per year. This has to be taken during the practical stages.
Who is responsible for me during the Dual Study Program?
During the entire Dual Study Program, you are looked after by the Human Resources department. In addition, during the practical stage, a member of staff from the relevant department is appointed to support you.
How often do people change departments during the Dual Study Program?
According to the study plan, you become familiar with a different department in each practical stage.
Is it possible to go abroad during the Dual Study Program?
The study program includes a semester abroad during one theoretical stage at one of the over 60 partner universities of the TH Nuremberg.
The practical stage also includes a 20-week assignment internship at an adidas location in Europe.

What are the chances of being permanently employed after the training period?
The contract for the Dual Study Program is for a fixed term of three years. However, it is our aim to take on all dual study students at the end, providing they have performed well during the Dual Study Program (both in their studies and in the company).
What further training opportunities are there after graduating successfully?
We are happy to support our former dual study students in pursuing a Masters degree alongside their career once they have some initial experience in their permanent position.

Places on the Dual Study Program are advertised annually in April on the career pages of the adidas Group website. We only accept applications made online via the portal. We don't accept applications send by post or email. Please submit your application in English.

The interview process
What is the format of a standard interview for the Dual Study Program at the adidas Group?
In the video or telephone interview, we would like to get to know you better and to learn more about you and your motivation for applying.
Approximately how long does the interview last?
The interview lasts from 10 to 15 minutes.
How many people take part in the interview?
The interview is between you and the relevant member of staff from the Human Resources department.
How should I prepare?
You should be familiar with your application documents and have done some research in advance about the adidas Group and the position for which you are applying.
Is there a part in English?
The interview process will be completely in English.
When will I receive a reply about the interview?
You will hear from us as soon as we have interviewed all the potential candidates, usually within one to two weeks after the interview.
