- PR adidas
- PR Reebok
- Internal communication
- Corporate communication
During the trainee program, you'll get to know two of the above-mentioned communication sections for seven months apiece. We also offer you a four-week-long placement abroad, numerous internal training courses, and work placements (for 1 to 7 days) at well-known editorial offices.

Our top priority is to provide comprehensive mentoring and foster trainee development, so you'll be supported by a mentor, the line manager for your section, and the HR department.

Where does the PR Trainee Program take place?
The home base for the PR Trainee Program is the company headquarters of adidas AG in Herzogenaurach.
How long does the PR Trainee Program last?
The PR Trainee Program lasts 15 months. During the 15 months, you get to know two communication departments of the adidas Group for seven months each.
What are the requirements?
With our applicants, we generally always look at the whole package: as well as a degree in communications/media science or journalism, candidates should be able to demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities and have a very good knowledge of English and German as well as intercultural competence. In addition, a passion for sport is an important requirement at adidas AG.
How important is my grade average?
Grades alone are not the decisive criterion in the taking on of university graduates. The overall profile is important to us; we want to learn what have you done apart from your studies (e.g., work placements, part-time jobs, social engagement, membership in associations, etc.).
How is the PR Trainee Program paid?
Pay for the RP Trainee Program is at the standard market rate.
What are the standard working hours (hours per week)?
The working hours are eight hours per day, 40 hours per week.
How much holiday will I have?
Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per year.
Will I have a mentor?
Each of our PR Trainees has a mentor during their time on the Trainee Program. Trainees are actively involved in the process of selecting a mentor.
Is it possible to go abroad during the Trainee Program?
It is possible to spend four weeks abroad at one of our companies outside Germany.
Do I have a fixed-term or a permanent contract?
The contract for the PR Trainee Program is for a fixed term of 15 months.
Is there a guarantee of a job at the end?
We do not give a guarantee of a job. However, it is our aim to take on all PR trainees at the end, providing they have performed well during the Trainee Program.
Is it necessary to have done an internship at the adidas Group?
No, it is not necessary to have done an internship at the adidas Group to apply for the Trainee Program. However, it is of course not a disadvantage if you are already familiar with the company.
Are there opportunities for further training during the Trainee Program?
We offer numerous further training opportunities during the PR Trainee Program, such as the PR Academy (workshops and training courses on various subjects), editorial internships, and other internal training initiatives.

The interview is conducted partially in English and partially in German.
When will I receive a reply about the interview?
You will hear from us as soon as we have interviewed all potential candidates for this position, usually within one to two weeks after the interview.

You will receive a reply from us whatever the outcome. Please understand that we are unable to provide individual feedback.
Are the expenses of travelling to the interview and overnight accommodation reimbursed?
The costs incurred are met by the adidas Group.
What is the dress code?
We do not specify any particular dress code. It is important to us that you feel comfortable!
